Terms of Service

InstantBook is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that provides solo service operators ("Providers") with a branded online booking page where their clients ("Clients") can schedule appointments and pay deposits. InstantBook is a booking tool — it is not a marketplace, staffing agency, or party to any transaction between Providers and Clients.

You must be at least 18 years old and a legal resident or business operating in Canada to use this Service as a Provider. By registering, you represent that all information you provide is accurate and that you have the legal authority to enter into these Terms.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at hello@instantbook.ca if you suspect unauthorized access. We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorized use of your account.

• Free plan: The Free plan is free forever and includes a public booking page with up to 2 services and 5 bookings per month. No credit card is required to start.
• Paid plans: Paid subscriptions (Starter $19, Growth $39, or Business $79 CAD/month) unlock higher limits and additional features. Prices are in Canadian dollars and exclude applicable taxes.
• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically on a monthly basis unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account settings.
• Pausing: If a subscription lapses or is cancelled, your booking page is paused. Account data is retained for 90 days, after which it may be permanently deleted.
• No booking fees: InstantBook does not charge per-booking commissions. Standard Stripe card processing fees (currently 2.9% + $0.30 CAD per transaction) apply to all client payments and are deducted by Stripe before funds reach your connected bank account.

Client payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. through Stripe Connect. By using InstantBook, Providers agree to Stripe's Services Agreement. InstantBook does not hold funds on behalf of Providers or Clients. Disputes, refunds, and chargebacks are handled directly between Providers, Clients, and Stripe.

• Provide accurate service descriptions, pricing, and availability.
• Fulfil booked appointments or communicate cancellations to Clients promptly.
• Handle your own GST/HST registration and remittance obligations as required by the Canada Revenue Agency.
• Not use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Not impersonate any person or business or provide false information.

You may not use the Service to: facilitate illegal transactions; send spam; reverse-engineer or scrape the platform; upload malicious code; or violate any applicable law or regulation.

InstantBook and its content (excluding your business content) are owned by CityCentral Technologies. You retain ownership of your business data and grant InstantBook a limited license to display it for the purpose of operating your booking page.

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. INSTANTBOOK DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE CANADIAN LAW, CITYCENTRAL TECHNOLOGIES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO INSTANTBOOK IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) $50 CAD.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CityCentral Technologies from any claims arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. You may cancel your account from your dashboard settings. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms or non-payment.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
